The XBox Series X and rumored Xbox Series S are set to release later this year. However, nothing was mentioned until now. According to Windows Central, a reputable source for Microsoft related leaks, the Xbox Series S, which is a disc-less, all-digital console will be coming out at $299 while the more powerful, beefier hardware & larger form factor Xbox Series X will be launching at $499. Both consoles are set to go on sale worldwide on November 10th, 2020.

It makes sense that this would be the pricing for both consoles as they have to remain competitive and Microsoft isn't foolish enough to make the same mistake Sony made years ago with the launch of the Playstation 3 with their lower end model starting at $499 and their higher end model at a whooping $599.
