The Tony Hawks Pro Skater series has been dormant for years if you don't count the 2015 bomb that was Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5. However, fans of the series may have a glimmer of hope to see a new THPS game worthy of the name being brought into the modern age. There are two prototypes rumoured to be making the rounds at Activision of remakes of Tony Hawks Pro Skater and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 respectively. These demos/prototypes may be intended for new games, or just as a test, If Activision decides to greenlight these projects, we could see a rebirth of classic Tony Hawk games in a new era. This would be fantastic and would bring old fans back to the series as well as bring new fans to it who may have never enjoyed the awesomeness that was THPS and THPS2 back in 1999 and 2000 respectively.
I remember playing both on my PS1 back in the day and me and my cousin would often try to beat each other's high scores. Now, at nearly 30 years of age, I could sit and do this with my...

If you are a player for Fortnite you will know about the latest event a few weeks ago which saw Fortnite hurled into a Black Hole leaving all fans of the game wondering what Epic Games had planned next or whether Fortnite would even be coming back.
After around a day of the black hole at the end of Season X, leaks started to appear online and it would seem that the person who allowed the leaks to be pushed online which soon went viral was in actual fact a Fortnite Tester and with them leaking news on Chapter 2 they ruined the suspense that epic had been working for months to increase.
It would seem that Epic Games are now taking things a step forward and g the tester who leaked Chapter 2 before Epic Games were ready to release it themselves will be sued.
A lawsuit that has been filed to a North Carolina court this past week states that Ronald Sykes broke a non-disclosure agreement after testing the game in September. Ronald Sykes leaked information regarding the new map...
With Christmas just around the corner, vBucks gift cards are perfect for that little extra stocking filler for anyone who may be a Fortnite player in your circle of family or friends! It's been a long time coming but it would seem Epic Games have listened and vBucks gift cards will soon be available for purchase!
We all know how frustrating it can be when you are a parent and your child wants something on Fortnite and you have to mess about adding your payment details to their account and then removing them after to prevent them from spending more money on their account through your payment card. Even since gifting came out on Fortnite, it's never really solved the issue as parents would then need to create their own accounts to be able to gift something to their child on the item store to save them from adding their payment details to their child's account, this can be somewhat of a pain if you are a parent that has no interest in Fortnite.
It's no shock to anyone that for quite a while now, the Call of Duty series has been struggling with many people choosing to either not purchase the new releases each year to many complaints about how much the game has changed and how they do not like the microtransactions brought to the game.
It would seem that the latest instalment in the series, Modern Warfare has brought a lot of gamers back to the series and many of which are giving it good reviews, it's been so good that it's the first Call of Duty game in the series since 2011 that has received some pretty good reviews, making it the best-reviewed in 8 years! The last games to get the best-reviewed was Modern Warfare 3.
You can see below the scores for each Call of Duty from 2007 and from these results, you can see just how badly Call of Duty was being received in the last 8 years
COD: Modern Warfare (2019) – 86
COD: Black Ops 4 (2018) – 83
COD: WWII (2017) – 79
COD: Infinite Warfare (2016) – 77
COD: Black Ops 3 (2015) –...
So Naughty Dog has decided to delay the release of The Last of Us part 2 from it's February 21st release date. It seems the developer needs a bit more time to polish the game and make it the best it can be. With that being said, the new release date is May 29th, 2020 The Last of Us 2 was revealed in December of 2016, and finally shown off E3 2018. We didn't get a release date until September 2019. Now Naughty Dog has pushed the release to Spring 2020 with it's new May 29th, 2020 release date.
The last of Us Part 2 is the follow up to the critically acclaimed, aware winning game from Naughty Dog. It seems TLOU 2 might be one of the last games released for Sony's Playstation 4. The Playstation 5 is slated for a Fall/Holiday 2020 release.
Today, the Call of Duty community exploded when news dropped that post launch content, mainly weapons will be earned through Gameplay. Artistic lead of Infinity Ward Joel Emsile stated about a week ago that this would be the case and that Infinity Ward was "not working on a lootbox/supply drop system". Everyone was skeptical but hopeful and cautiously optimistic, it seems we now have confirmation that Joel was telling the truth. It appears that post-launch weapons will be achieved through gameplay and playing the game, not through an RNG slot machine mechanic. Activision has come out to say that there will NEVER be supply drops in Modern Warfare. It would appear that Activision is now taking a new more consumer-friendly approach to MTX.
Taken directly from the activision blog post: Today, let’s address the basics for the in-game economy coming in Modern Warfare.
We are introducing a new Battle Pass system, not a loot box system.
With the end of Season X approaching in Fortnite, Epic Games have managed to so far keep things under tight wrap, not letting any Fortnite fans know exactly what lies ahead and what the seven have planned in the huge live event on Sunday. It would seem though that the Italian App Store may have just leaked not only the title but also that there seems to be a new map coming and some other form of transport as well.
You can click the image below to see exactly what was leaked on the Italian App Store.
As you can see from this image we can clearly see that the title says "Fortnite Chapter 2" and there definitely seems to be a new map and also boats in the water which may indicate the new way of getting onto the new island.
At the moment a Battle Bus allows players to launch onto the Fortnite Island and into a match, the last set of daily challenges that were released have been called 'Last Stop' and we also have received a loading screen with all characters seen waving at the...
Data miners have been at it again, looking into the Fortnite files and finding information and possible leaks as to what could be coming to the game at some point. The most recent find from data miners seems to be the possibility of a Ninja skin coming to Fortnite. With Ninja being the biggest Fortnite streamer in would make sense to see a skin for Ninja come into the game.
With the most recent update on 21st of September which brought the Batman cross-over, data miners have found some code that could hint at a Ninja related items coming to Fortnite. 'NinjaStream1H Pickaxe' was seen in the code which could indicate a Ninja pickaxe maybe? Previously in code data miners have also seen the following code as well ‘CIDTBD_Athena_Commando_M_NinjaStream’.
In season 8 battle pass there was a skin released that Ninja had seen and thought was him. The skin was called Master Key and had a similar hair cut to Ninja and was also wearing a headband similar to what Ninja wears. This looks as...
There has been much speculation from fans as to when and if we will see a Destiny 3, with Destiny 2 being two years old now and heading into year three you would think plans would be in place for the next game in the sequel, however, fans may be waiting a little longer and here is why.
Destiny 2 seems to be in a really good place at the moment with the Season of Undying being right around the corner and also Shadowkeep coming along with it and bringing the game free to play also, they are looking pretty solid and the game now seems to be operating on a five-year plan. With the announcement of them being on a five-year deal now any plans for Destiny 3 seemed to have been shelved at least for now.
It's looking as though with the divorce from Activision and Bungie being solely allowed to work on Destiny 2 on their own now and the idea of free play being made a reality, they do not see any reason to rush out a new Destiny game.
Shadowkeep will allow Bungie to release a whole lot of...
Call of Duty Modern Warfare's Beta is active this weekend with those who have early access able to play two days earlier than those who are only eligible for the open beta which starts on Saturday 21st September. As we know, cross-play is enabled for this beta this weekend which enables players to be able to play with their friends regardless of whether they are on PC, Xbox One or PS4.
Cross-play, however, is completely different to cross-progression and cross-save, with cross-progression and cross-save this allows a player of a game to be able to take saves of the game over with them between different platforms so, for example, you can play the campaign on Xbox One and save and continue where you left off on PC without any issues.
This was not announced as going to be activated this weekend for the beta but it would seem that it is active, the last we heard from Infinity Ward was that they would be looking into activating cross-progression and cross-save, could this be them...

Gears 5 was released on 6th September for early access and released to everyone on Tuesday 10th of September and now stats have come to light which shows that Gears 5 had the biggest launch party known to date, Halo 4 had a pretty big launch party but Gears 5 has managed to surpass that!
Gears 5 has seen over 3 million players since it was released which has been said to have easily doubled the number of players on the first week of Gears of War 4. This has now made Gears 5 have the "biggest launch week of any Xbox Game Studios title this generation." What an absolutely amazing record for Xbox!
Stats were taken from the launch of the Gears 5 early access on September 6th all the way through to this past weekend the 13th-16th September.
Not only did Gears 5 break records for being the biggest launch week of any Xbox Game Studios title but it also set new records as well. First party records were also set on PC, it became the biggest launch on Xbox Game Pass and it was also the...
It would seem that a recent leak has shown exactly what Gamestop's redesign will look like after GameStop store in Pryor, Oklahoma posted a Facebook video which seemed to show a tour around a newly laid out store. This has since been confirmed as being a true leak by a source familiar with GameStop’s operation, they have asked to be kept anonymous though so we do not have a name.
The confirmation is that the store in the video does match the blueprint that they have of the redesigns which were shown at Gamestop's annual conference.
According to sources from IGN, Oklahoma does have a test store which is the same state that this tour video was from. Even though this store in Oklahoma looks the way it does, another source who is familiar with the future of Gamestop and their reboot plans has said that not all stores will look like this one. Some of the stores that are...
We mentioned late last week about how loot boxes in games should have gambling warnings especially when it comes to games that are targetted at children. Games such as Overwatch are one of the many games that offer loot boxes that you can either earn in-game by playing or by purchasing them using real money which can often lead to addiction trying to get what you want from the loot boxes.
It has now come to light that the gaming industry that is worth around $137.9bn (£110bn) seem to be making their profits by ripping off children. In these games, many children are often pushed into not only playing the game to earn the loot boxes but in pure desperation to get something rare will also put money into the games until they get what they want which can often run into not only the $100's but also the $1000's just for one person. Many children have said that spending money in games is what makes the game fun to play with others openly saying that they believe video games try to make...
Data miners have been at it again and we now had leaked game files that show the possibility of a new map coming to Fortnite in Season 11. Season X has not been the greatest of seasons coming from Fortnite with many players complaining about how they are finding the game boring and too much the same with a new map never making an appearance.
At the moment in Season X, we are seeing slight map changes coming into the game each week and most of them coming with rift zones with the most recent map changes being Greasy Grove making a comeback with a Taco Theme and Moisty Palms replacing what was Moisty Mire and Paradise Palms and that becoming a Prop area where players can change into an object to hide from enemies.
Now we are seeing new names coming from leaked game files which looks very much like potential new places on the map and could indicate a whole new map. So, what names have been leaked? There are quite a few which is why speculation is so high in terms of a new map. Here...
Last week we mentioned how there was going to be a huge nerf to supers and buff stacking when Shadowkeep is released but now we have some good news that will make Destiny 2 players a lot more happier.
All weapons will be getting buffs to PvE damage, this seems to be the way Bungie would like to handle things when it comes to reshaping the meta for when Shadowkeep arrives.
Firstly, let's start with the weapons and how much of a buff they will be getting.
Auto-Rifles will be getting a 25 - 30% damage buff but this will depend on the enemy rank.
Bows will see a 31% damage buff to minor enemies with a 26% damage buff to major enemies.
Hand Cannons will see a 30% damage buff against minor enemies and also a supposedly fixed cannon bloom for 140/150s
Machine Guns will see a 25% damage buff against minor enemies
Pulse Rifles will see a 28% damage buff against minor enemies
Scout Rifles will see an 18-36% damage buff depending on the enemy rank
Sidearms will see a 16% damage buff to...
It has been a long time coming but it would seem that Fortnite has finally been dethroned as the most played game on Xbox One. For well over a year at least, Fortnite was the most played game on Xbox One alone and one of the main reasons behind that was because it was a free game and it became very popular due to streamers such as Ninja playing it quite a lot when streaming.
Gears 5 was released earlier this week and so far it's been doing really well with many saying that this may be the best game in the franchise yet.
Being that Gears 5 has dethroned Fortnite as the most played game on Xbox One, it would definitely seem that many gamers are for sure, enjoying Gears 5. The fact that Gears 5 is also available on Game Pass at a low monthly fee, that may have definitely helped in Gears 5 reigning over Fortnite. The gaining access to the game early as well if you were an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member was a huge incentive and not one many were wanting to turn down, I mean, who...
Loot boxes are in-game rewards that can either be earned by playing the game or you also have the option to purchase them using real money. For those who tend to purchase them using real money, it can be quite addictive and therefore has caused a debate as to whether loot boxes in games promote and encourage gambling and should, therefore, have a warning about being gamble aware.
With loot boxes, you are not guaranteed to get something you want whether you received the loot box through playing the game or through a real-money purchase which means those who purchased the loot boxes with real money can easily become addicted until they get the item they want in the game. So far, there has been no law passed which states video game creators must have warnings.
A House of Commons committee has advised that loot boxes in video games should be regulated as gambling. They have also advised that children should be barred from purchasing loot boxes from video games as well as they can be...
