We are just a week away from the release of "Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2," and Ninja Theory is very much focused on their new game despite the backdrop of Microsoft closing other critically acclaimed studios. Despite the uncertainty in the industry, Dom Matthews, the head of the studio has emphasized their pride in the game and the anticipation for the fan's reactions.

Released in 2017, the first Hellblade game was praised for its portrayal of psychosis and won multiple awards. Melina Juergens, who starred as Senua unexpectedly, shares how her personal experience with psychosis informed her performance which added authenticity to the game. For Hellblade 2, the team has advanced technologically with extensive motion capture efforts and a new studio. The game aims to deepen the portrayal of mental health, illustrating Senua's ongoing journey with psychosis.

Both the collaborators and the studio like neuroscientist Prof. Paul Fletcher highlight the game's impact...
Sega reveals new games in legacy IP's are currently in development!

During The Game Awards show last night, Sega dropped a teaser trailer outlining that they have games from their old IP catalogue all in deveolpment right now. The games series mentioned were:
Jet Grind/Set Radio
Crazy Taxi
Shinobi
Streets of Rage
Golden Axe.

They ended it with "And more." We aren't sure what "More" means but we're super excited for new entries from these classic games. Personally, I'm excited for the last 3 entries listed. I do love me some Crazy Taxi though. I just hope they get licensing sorted so we can have a banger soundtrack like the offspring from the original game.

What are your thoughts? Are you excited for this announcement? Are you a Sega fan? Personally, I'd love to see them reveal a new console but that is a pipedream that just won't come true I'm sure.

Here is the trailer for you to see for yourself:

It's official. The Grand Theft Auto VI trailer has dropped. We're goin' back to Vice City........in 2025. The game will launch sometime in 2025 according to the first trailer that dropped earlier today. You apparently play as a couple of criminals, so we will probably see the zapping system seen in GTA 5.

Here is the new trailer:

A leaked image that was taken from the Xbox Dashboard seems to have leaked that Peter Griffin will be coming to Fortnite in Chapter 5 Season 1. If you are a long-time player of Fortnite and tend to follow the leaks, you will know that speculation around Peter Griffin or Family Guy coming to Fortnite has been going on for years and it seems that we are finally getting the skin in the game!

It looks as though this will also be a battle pass skin which is amazing for those who want the skin!

Also in the leak, it seems that we will also be seeing Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid coming to the game in Chapter 5 Season 1.

Even though all this is leaked, we have yet to hear confirmation from Epic Games but going by the leaked trailer as well for Chapter 5 Season 1, it seems that these leaks may ring true.

Hopefully, we will see more when we get the Big Bang Event later today (2nd of December 2023) but for now, things are looking very exciting for Fortnite!

As many of you will know, Rockstar Games are set to release the first official trailers for GTA VI and it has been announced and confirmed by the developer that it will be in December of 2023. Whilst we have been given a rough idea of when no exact date has been given.

It has been over a decade since we last saw a major instalment in the GTA series so it would be expected that fans are very much excited for the reveal but they have been cautioned to not expect too much from the trailer to not have their hopes shot down if what they expected does not happen, so far it is being reported that the trailer may only showcase the logo for GTA VI and a small glimpse of gameplay.

A leaked pre-order date of December 12th, 2023 which seems to have been obtained through a chat with a customer service employer for Argos, a UK retailer has fueled speculation of a potential release date. This information at this time though has not been verified and should only be taken with a grain of salt...
Fortnite X Eminem

Fortnite has not had a sizeable concert in-game since the Ariana Grande Tour in 2021, this however, seems to be about to change to some extent by the 2nd of December 2023.

Fortnite leaks that have come to light ahead of the upcoming Fortnite OG Live Event Finale have revealed that Eminem will be coming to Fortnite as part of the finale event. Eminem? I know, we can't believe it ourselves.

It would seem that the Eminem performance will not be the only appearance in the finale but will instead be part of a larger whole, including a Racing Mode, Lego partnership and Rhythm Mode.

According to HypeX's report, the filesize alone for this Fortnite OG event is 1.5GB by itself which is the biggest event by filesize.

So far we know that there will be three Eminem variants which will be the following:

The old Slim Shady

Sony raises prices for PS Plus memberships across the board.

A few days ago Sony had announced that they will be increasing the prices of their Playstation Plus memberships across the board. This change is very controversial and has a lot of people upset, especially PS Plus Premium holders (like myself) who haven't seen too many 'classics' put on the service to justify the $120 price tag, much less the new $160 price tag.

Here are the new prices for PlayStation Plus 12-month subscription plans.

PlayStation Plus Essential 12-Month Subscription
79.99 USD | 71,99 Euro | 59.99 GBP | 6,800 Yen

PlayStation Plus Extra 12-Month Subscription
134.99 USD | 125,99 Euro | 99.99 GBP | 11,700 Yen

PlayStation Plus Premium 12-Month Subscription
159.99 USD | 151,99 Euro | 119.99 GBP | 13,900 Yen

The new prices for the 12-Month subscription will remain at a discounted rate when compared to purchasing the 1-Month or 3-Month subscriptions over a 12-month period.

For current 12-month subscribers, this price increase will not take...

Lollipop Chainsaw was a hack-n-slash game by Suda51 revolving around a teenage girl named Juliet Sterling, a cheerleader who is also part of a family of zombie hunters.. A quirky game originally released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on 2012 by Suda51. A remake is in the works by Dragami Games slated for a summer 2024 release under the name of Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop.

n a press release, Dragami Games stated that while the team’s intention was to aim for a 2023 release for RePOP, “our commitment to providing the best possible quality experience to our players led us to making the hard decision to extend the development period in order to ensure this. We sincerely apologize to all who had been waiting for the latest installment in the Lollipop Chainsaw series, and kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.”

Unfortunately, it's not all good news, according to sources Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is currently being developed without the involvement of James...

Xbox announces refer-a-friend program for Game Pass.

Xbox has announced a friend referral program for Game Pass, however, there's a catch, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members give up to five friends a free 14-day PC Game Pass trial. Invited friends must be new to Game Pass to redeem the free trial. The invited user must have never had game pass prior to accepting the invitation to join Game Pass. In our opinion, this makes sense, however, we can't help but feel like this is something Xbox should have had going not long after the launch of game pass. The people who are on game pass now or most xbox/PC gamers have probably had game pass at some point in the past. It's hard to say who this would benefit at this point in time, but it's cool they're doing this nontheless. Each free trial/referred friend will get all the perks of Game Pass Ultimate it seems, so they can enjoy it on both console & PC. As per xbox.com - for new...
UK ban placed on Microsoft's deal to takeover Activision and Blizzard!
  • 927

It would seem that the dreams of the deal Microsoft placed to take over Activision and Blizzard may not be just that, a dream. A UK ban has been put in place by the government of the UK due to concerns that it would impact and alter the future of the cloud gaming market and would result in UK gamers having fewer choices in the years to come.

Many are asking if Call of Duty may have been the main trigger that resulted in the UK ban on the takeover and it would seem, that may very well be the case. Sony who owns PlayStation had already voiced their concerns over Microsoft taking over Activision and Blizzard and that they could use their ownership of the two companies to withhold the game from PlayStation or even harm the console market. Microsoft had reassured console companies and even struck a deal to say this would not happen and that Call of Duty would be available on other platforms for at least 10 years. Nintendo was happy with the deal by Sony was not which is why they...

Call of Duty 2023 is happening - Campaign, MP, Developer, everything we know so far.

Call of Duty has been a yearly release since 2006, much like Madden, NHL and other sports titles. Over the years it's had it's ups and downs with it's games, some were big hits, others were bad misses, the past 4 or so years have been a mixed bag for Call of Duty, with the introduction of Warzone, traditional 6 versus 6 multiplayer has taken a serious hit in quality. However, this year was supposed to be the first of a 2 year cycle where the developers would focus on their game for a full 2 years. However, it now seems that Activision has decided to scrap that idea and instead of releasing a full year of content in 2023 for Modern Warfare II, the current active title in the series, it appears they have already abandoned it in favor of working on the next premium title for 2023. Call of Duty 2023 is set to be developed by Sledgehammer Games, the developer who last gave us Call of Duty Vanguard. One of the worst selling games in the franchise, which released in a mess of a...

This new Pro-style controller dubbed the "Raikiri Pro" is officially licensed by Microsoft and sports a 1.3" OLED screen for various functions such as Microphone status, battery life and more. The controller also features a ESS DAC, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a mute button you'd come to expect for an xbox controller. Of course it sports all features you would expect from a "Pro" controller, including remappable buttons, adjusting joystick sensitivity and dead zones, and different trigger...

Google has officially confirmed that Stadia is coming to an end. You can expect it to close January 18th, 2023.

Google plans to issue refunds to anyone who purchased any Stadia hardware through the Google Store alongside games and addons. The refunds will be expected to be issued come mid January. You can check out their Stadia FAQ by visiting this link

From their official blog:

“A few years ago, we also launched a consumer gaming service, Stadia. And while Stadia’s approach to streaming games for consumers was built on a strong technology foundation, it hasn’t gained the traction with users that we expected so we’ve made the difficult decision to begin winding down our Stadia streaming service.” Employees on the Stadia team will be distributed to other parts of the company.

Big Chungus rumored to come to MultiVersus
  • 924

Could the meme be coming to MultiVersus? Warner Bros filed a trademark for the Bugs Bunny meme recently. Many seem to think that it is for MultiVersus, but at this time it hasn't been confirmed.

As reported by VGR's Andrew Marmo, the company filed a trademark claim for the image of an inflated Bugs Bunny under the name Big Chungus.

Fans of the multiplayer game are convinced this implies the meme is coming sometime in the future. Big Chungus also appeared in Looney Tunes World of Mayhem and was a playable character in the mobile game.

So does this mean we'll see him in MultiVersus? We'll have to wait to find out.
