Fortnite has not had a sizeable concert in-game since the Ariana Grande Tour in 2021, this however, seems to be about to change to some extent by the 2nd of December 2023.

Fortnite leaks that have come to light ahead of the upcoming Fortnite OG Live Event Finale have revealed that Eminem will be coming to Fortnite as part of the finale event. Eminem? I know, we can't believe it ourselves.

It would seem that the Eminem performance will not be the only appearance in the finale but will instead be part of a larger whole, including a Racing Mode, Lego partnership and Rhythm Mode.

According to HypeX's report, the filesize alone for this Fortnite OG event is 1.5GB by itself which is the biggest event by filesize.

Rockstar Confirm GTA 6 Trailer! Arriving in December

It has been a very long wait and also highly anticipated but it has finally happened! Rockstar Games has announced that we will be getting a reveal trailer in December 2023!

The developer, Rockstar Games made a post on Rockstar Newswire which confirmed the rumours that have been going around the internet since earlier in November. It would seem that Rockstar is not yet ready to reveal the full game but instead is very excited to finally debut GTA 6. They will be giving us a first official look at GTA 6 in December.

As quoted by Rockstar Games:

We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto," it said. "We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.

Rockstar Games have also indicated that the 25th Anniversary of Rockstar would also arrive next month, December. This could be an indication that the GTA 6 trailer could debut on the same day.

UK ban placed on Microsoft's deal to takeover Activision and Blizzard!

It would seem that the dreams of the deal Microsoft placed to take over Activision and Blizzard may not be just that, a dream. A UK ban has been put in place by the government of the UK due to concerns that it would impact and alter the future of the cloud gaming market and would result in UK gamers having fewer choices in the years to come.

Many are asking if Call of Duty may have been the main trigger that resulted in the UK ban on the takeover and it would seem, that may very well be the case. Sony who owns PlayStation had already voiced their concerns over Microsoft taking over Activision and Blizzard and that they could use their ownership of the two companies to withhold the game from PlayStation or even harm the console market. It's been a long wait but Lifeweaver is now available as a playable hero in Overwatch 2. Season 4 started on 11th April 2023 and it brought to the game a whole new season and a new hero, Lifeweaver.

What do we know about the new hero Lifeweaver?

1. Lifeweaver's real name is Niran "Bua" Pruksamanee
2. Lifeweaver is from Thailand
3. Lifeweaver is a support hero in Overwatch 2

What are Lifeweaver's abilities?

1. Parting Gift - When you die you will drop a gift that will heal the first person that picks it up, this could be an enemy or an ally.
2. Healing Blossom - You can heal an ally that is targeted with this ability. Hold to charge a healing burst.
3. Thorn Valley - This will rapidly fire projectiles that are spread out.

User data given to hackers posing as law enforcement by Apple, Discord and Facebook

It would seem that Discord, Apple and Facebook have all accidentally given user data over to hackers who were posing as law enforcement. The demands were forged to look genuine and they reportedly came from authentic email accounts. Facebook and Apple are said to have handed over basic details such as address, phone number and IP Address where Discord was said to have handed over the internet address history of Discord accounts tied to a specific phone number

Snapchat was also targeted by the hackers but it is unknown if they handed anything over that was requested at this time.

Guy makes $30,000 from Gamestop shares, buys consoles for children's hospital!

Hunter Kahn, 20 years old from the USA who bought GameStop shares and made $30,000 after cashing out has spent over $2000 on gaming consoles and more to donate to children's hospitals. What exactly did he buy and donate you may be thinking? Hunter bought and donated six Nintendo Switch Lites, two Nintendo Switches, games, e-shop gift cards screen protectors and cases, all of which were donated to children's hospitals.

Hunter was interviewed by CNN after his good deed to which he told them "kids deserve them because of the situation that they are in."

After buying and donating the consoles to the childrens hospital, Hunter will not be using the rest of his money to pay off his University fee's and will be putting the rest of the money into savings.

What an amazing guy and truly an inspiration especially during these really difficult times!

If you are a gamer, you will be well aware of the announcement from EA! Battlefield 6 has been confirmed by EA to be released this year and they have also promised that there will be more players than ever in this new game. EA have also given a release date of Christmas 2021 and they have also made it clear that they are well ahead of schedule, which means we should definitely be getting Battlefield 6 on the date they announce with no delays, hopefully. Not something you hear much of at the moment so that is great news.

If an announcement and a release date was not enough to excite you, it has also been confirmed that EA will be taking full advantage of the next generation consoles and will be bringing huge battles to life in game with more players than ever before!

Could there be a Dreamcast Mini?

Creative Producer for Sega, Yosuke Okunari has made a suggestion that the next micro console to be released could in actual fact be a Dreamcast Mini.

During an interview between Okunari and Famitsu magazine regadring the future of mini consoles it was suggested that Sega could be considering a mini version of the 1999 console.

Quoted from Yosuke Okunari "I think for the next one, we may go with a concept close to the Mega Drive Mini," Okunari explains. "If I have to say some names, it could be an SG-1000 Mini or a Dreamcast Mini."

No prices for PS5 and Xbox Series X unfair on their customers?

We know that the release of Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X is now 2 months away with a release for November but it would seem that neither companies are willing to let a price slip at all, cutting it super fine for those who wish to save up ready for the launch.

This seems to be leaving a sour taste in many customers mouths with many worrying that they may not have the funds to purchase the newly released next generation consoles when they release, especially as close to Christmas as their release will be.

It's understandable that both companies would have been holding off on their price announcements due to possibly wanting to undercut the other on a price but with it being so far into 2020 now and a holiday 2020 release guaranteed, it's very much unfair to the customer now at this point.

Xbox players more toxic than Playstation? A current study suggests so.

A new study that has been taken has found that Xbox players are more toxic than Playstation players. Top10Casinos.com were the ones who conducted in the study and found that Xbox players surpassed Playstation players in physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility.

The results that came back were as follows from the study

Physical aggression ~ 0.541
Verbal aggression ~ 0.634
Anger ~ 0.526
Hostility ~ 0.624

The study that was conducted also found that male players on Xbox were also more aggressive than female players.

So there we have it, male Xbox players may just be the most aggressive. What are your thoughts on this? Would you agree on the study?

If you are a player for Fortnite you will know about the latest event a few weeks ago which saw Fortnite hurled into a Black Hole leaving all fans of the game wondering what Epic Games had planned next or whether Fortnite would even be coming back.

After around a day of the black hole at the end of Season X, leaks started to appear online and it would seem that the person who allowed the leaks to be pushed online which soon went viral was in actual fact a Fortnite Tester and with them leaking news on Chapter 2 they ruined the suspense that epic had been working for months to increase.

It would seem that Epic Games are now taking things a step forward and g the tester who leaked Chapter 2 before Epic Games were ready to release it themselves will be sued.

Modern Warfare is best reviewed game in the series since 2011!

It's no shock to anyone that for quite a while now, the Call of Duty series has been struggling with many people choosing to either not purchase the new releases each year to many complaints about how much the game has changed and how they do not like the microtransactions brought to the game.

It would seem that the latest instalment in the series, Modern Warfare has brought a lot of gamers back to the series and many of which are giving it good reviews, it's been so good that it's the first Call of Duty game in the series since 2011 that has received some pretty good reviews, making it the best-reviewed in 8 years! The last games to get the best-reviewed was Modern Warfare 3.

Fortnite Chapter 2 & New Map!

With the end of Season X approaching in Fortnite, Epic Games have managed to so far keep things under tight wrap, not letting any Fortnite fans know exactly what lies ahead and what the seven have planned in the huge live event on Sunday. It would seem though that the Italian App Store may have just leaked not only the title but also that there seems to be a new map coming and some other form of transport as well.

As you can see from this image we can clearly see that the title says "Fortnite Chapter 2" and there definitely seems to be a new map and also boats in the water which may indicate the new way of getting onto the new island.

Ninja skin coming to Fortnite?

Data miners have been at it again, looking into the Fortnite files and finding information and possible leaks as to what could be coming to the game at some point. The most recent find from data miners seems to be the possibility of a Ninja skin coming to Fortnite. With Ninja being the biggest Fortnite streamer in would make sense to see a skin for Ninja come into the game.

With the most recent update on 21st of September which brought the Batman cross-over, data miners have found some code that could hint at a Ninja related items coming to Fortnite. 'NinjaStream1H Pickaxe' was seen in the code which could indicate a Ninja pickaxe maybe? Previously in code data miners have also seen the following code as well ‘CIDTBD_Athena_Commando_M_NinjaStream’.

Will there be a Destiny 3?

There has been much speculation from fans as to when and if we will see a Destiny 3, with Destiny 2 being two years old now and heading into year three you would think plans would be in place for the next game in the sequel, however, fans may be waiting a little longer and here is why.

Destiny 2 seems to be in a really good place at the moment with the Season of Undying being right around the corner and also Shadowkeep coming along with it and bringing the game free to play also, they are looking pretty solid and the game now seems to be operating on a five-year plan. With the announcement of them being on a five-year deal now any plans for Destiny 3 seemed to have been shelved at least for now.

It's looking as though with the divorce from Activision and Bungie being solely allowed to work on Destiny 2 on their own now and the idea of free play being made a reality, they do not see any reason to rush out a new Destiny game.

Cross-Progression and cross-save active in Call of Duty Modern Warfare?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare's Beta is active this weekend with those who have early access able to play two days earlier than those who are only eligible for the open beta which starts on Saturday 21st September. As we know, cross-play is enabled for this beta this weekend which enables players to be able to play with their friends regardless of whether they are on PC, Xbox One or PS4.

Cross-play, however, is completely different to cross-progression and cross-save, with cross-progression and cross-save this allows a player of a game to be able to take saves of the game over with them between different platforms so, for example, you can play the campaign on Xbox One and save and continue where you left off on PC without any issues.

This was not announced as going to be activated this weekend for the beta but it would seem that it is active, the last we heard from Infinity Ward was that they would be looking into activating cross-progression and cross-save, could this be them...
